Limited data for Jordan. Figures for safety, healthcare, cost of living and political stability in Jordan are country-level estimates from World Bank indicators, each named with its year. We have no tax, English, social openness or internet speed figures for Jordan, so the quiz scores those factors conservatively and this page leaves them out.

Residency and visas

Possible, with conditions. Long-term residency runs mainly through buying qualifying real estate for a renewable five-year investor permit or sponsor-tied work permits, as Jordan has no points-based skilled system and no published passive-income or retirement visa.

The cheapest self-funded routes we track for Jordan:

  • Investment: about $282k (Jordan real estate residency-by-investment, JOD 200,000 qualifying property for a renewable 5-year permit (converted at the pegged 1 JOD = 1.41 USD); as of June 2026)

For short visits, 10 of 198 passports can enter visa-free, 132 can get an e-visa or visa on arrival and 56 need a visa in advance.
