Limited data for Lebanon. Figures for safety, healthcare, cost of living and political stability in Lebanon are country-level estimates from World Bank indicators, each named with its year. We have no tax, English, social openness or internet speed figures for Lebanon, so the quiz scores those factors conservatively and this page leaves them out.

Residency and visas
Possible, with conditions. Lebanon issues renewable annual residence permits, and three-year 'permanent' permits, to foreigners of independent means who show either sufficient monthly income or a blocked Lebanese-bank deposit and pledge not to work; there is no formal golden visa, and figures are converted at roughly 89,500 LBP per USD.
The cheapest self-funded routes we track for Lebanon:
- Income: about $559 a month (Lebanon annual residence (renewable) for foreigners of independent means, monthly-income route, LBP 50,000,000/mo; as of June 2026)
- Investment: about $11k (Lebanon annual residence blocked Lebanese-bank deposit route, LBP 1,000,000,000 one-time (cheaper than the LBP 4,500,000,000 three-year permanent-residence deposit); as of June 2026)
For short visits, 7 of 198 passports can enter visa-free, 96 can get an e-visa or visa on arrival and 95 need a visa in advance.
